These terms and conditions are between Diag-Tune Ltd registered company number 14546532 and you, the client.

Remapping

​

Quotes/Estimates

​

1.   Valid quotes for Diag-Tune remapping will be given in writing, for this purpose we classify written quotes/estimates as those written in email,text and other social media messaging services used as well as written postal letters.

​

2.   All quotations and estimates will be valid for a period of 14 days from the date the written quote/estimate was given. After the 14 days we may need to re-quote and the price may have changed.

​

Our Remaps

​

3.     Diag-Tune Ltd is an authorised dealer for the multi award winning Viezu Technologies Ltd. All of our remaps are written and tested by Viezu Technologies. Diag-Tune acts as a 'slave' to Viezu - meaning that Diag-Tune purchases all of our digital files (downloaded, remaps) from Viezu. All ECU remaps are written by Viezu's master file writers. 

 

4.     Viezu Technologies tests all of their ECU remap downloads at their facility in Warwickshire.

 

5.     Diag-Tune offers 3 main remaps.

 

5.1.  Blue Optimise (VBLUE) - The VBLUE will give approximately 50% of the possible performance gains with the maximum fuel economy gains.

 

5.2.  VBLEND - The VBLEND will give approximately 75% of the possible performance gains with some respectable fuel economy gains.

 

5.3.  VPERF (stage1) - The VPERF will give the maximum performance gains with little regard to fuel economy.

5.4.  All possible gains given both in terms of performance and fuel economy are approximate and we can not give precise gains as this is only possible when a rolling road / dyno is used.

​

6.     Driving style will greatly affect any gains following your remap, particularly when looking at fuel economy gains.

​

7.     Diag-Tune can also offer remaps for more specific performance and drivability gains, including remaps for towing and motor homes as well as applying or removing speed limiters etc. Contact us at info@diag-tune.com for information on what other ECU remaps we can offer.

8.     Diag-Tune offers all its clients the opportunity to change their mind regarding the level of remap applied to their vehicle. For a period of 30 days from the date of the original remap we will remove the remap and apply an alternative, for example if you originally had a VPERF remap but decided you would rather a VBLEND, we would change this for you for the small cost of a call out/booking fee of from £25.

8.1.  This offer applies for a maximum of 30 days from the date of the original remap.

​

8.2.   The call out/booking fee starts at £25 for client remaps carried out in Ipswich or at our registered address of 116 Renfrew Road IP4 3HP. The fee will increase slightly depending upon the location in which the remap is to be carried out. please contact us at info@diag-tune.com for an accurate price for this service.

9.     Diag-Tune offers the client the opportunity to have their remap reversed should this be a requirement when selling or handing back your lease vehicle.

​

9.1.  Diag-Tune will reverse (put your ECU back to how it was before we remapped it) and we will only charge a small call out/booking fee of from £25.

9.2.  The call out/booking fee starts at £25 for the removal of our remaps in Ipswich and at our registered address of 116 Renfrew Road IP4 3HP. The fee will increase slightly depending upon the location in which the remap is to be carried out. Please contact us at info@diag-tune.com for an accurate price for this service.

10.    Prior to carrying out any remap, Diag-Tune will run a diagnostic test on your vehicle using our portable Autel diagnostic tool. This is to ensure your vehicle is in optimum health to apply the remap.

​

10.1. Should your vehicle have a fault which our IMI qualified technician deems significant enough that your vehicle is, in his opinion, unfit for the remap at that time you will only be charged a small fault-finding fee of from £25.

 

10.2. The fault-finding fee for this service will be £25 for vehicles being remapped in Ipswich or at our registered address of 116 Renfrew Road IP4 3HP. The fee will increase slightly depending upon the location of the vehicle being remapped. Please contact us at info@diag-tune.com for an accurate price for this service.

10.3 Diag-Tune will return 50% of the previously paid fault-finding fee if the client has us back to remap your vehicle within 90 days of the original remapping appointment. This discount will be taken off the total cost of your remap.

Insurance

​

11.   All works carried out by Diag-Tune Ltd are covered by our comprehensive public liability and our specialist trade insurance.

​

12.   All remap software downloads are also insured by Viezu Technologies Ltd, the master file writers used by Diag-Tune.

​

Payments

​

13.   Diag-Tune requires payment in full at the time of the remap, unless by prior arrangement between Diag-Tune and the client for business fleet remaps.

​

13.1. Diag-Tune currently takes payment in the form of bank transfer to Diag-Tune Ltd, account number 30435870, sort code 82-11-07. We will also accept cash payments.

​

General

​

14.   The client acknowledges that Diag-Tune strongly recommends that they inform their insurer of the remap applied by Diag-Tune. Diag-Tune does NOT accept any responsibility for any increased cost of the clients insurance premium or for any consequences should the client choose not to inform their insurer.

​

15.   The client will be issued with a certificate of tuning/remapping stating the approximate BHP and NM torque gains, these figures are approximate as Diag-Tune does not use a rolling road / dyno.

 

16.   Should the client insist on over tuning their vehicle going against  the recommendations of both Diag-Tune Ltd and Viezu Technologies Ltd, the client will be required to sign a disclaimer in acknowledgement that neither Diag-Tune or Viezu will be held responsible in any way for any damage incurred as a result of the over tuning.

17.   Diag-Tune will only apply road legal remaps for any vehicle which is registered to be driven on the roads.

Data Protection /Collection

​

19.   Diag-Tune complies with UK General Data Protection Regulation. We collect and store the minimum amount of our clients personal data possible, whilst still enabling us to carry out our services effectively. We do not share or sell any of the personal information we collect and hold.
